By Diane Neal Emmons • Nov 17th, 2008 • Category: Diane Neal EmmonsI am a graduate of Smith College, hold a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and Post Graduate Study Certificates in Marital and Family Therapies and in Employee Assistance Programs from Boston University School of Social Work. I am certified to administer and interprets a variety of intelligence, psychological, and vocational assessment instruments. I was formerly Assistant Director of the Office of Career Services in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, where I counseled Ph.D. candidates and undergraduates. I established a private practice in career counseling, coaching, and outplacement consulting in 1982.
My experience also includes teaching, non-profit leadership, program planning and management, development, administration, and property and family management.
Affiliations: I am a member of the American Counseling Association, The American Mental Health Counselor’s Association, the Associated Career Professionals International, and is a founding member and communications chair of the Independent Career Counselors.
Publications: I am the author of “Opportunities in High-Tech for Non-Technologists and edited “Your Decision-making Strengths”, a publication designed for use with the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator.
I enjoy working with people at all stages of career development, and assisting them as they address issues that affect their personal, professional, and social lives.
